Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Saint Johns, FL. This contracted role involves working with diverse student populations to provide psychological services that promote academic success and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students in grades K-5 and 9-12
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and behavior
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to address student needs
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or license for school psychology
- Experience working with students across elementary and high school levels preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
