We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images for physicians. This role requires knowledge of MRI safety protocols, patient care, and maintaining imaging equipment. The MRI Technologist will work closely with patients to ensure comfort and safety during the imaging process, as well as assist in preparing reports for medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality images for diagnosis
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
- Ensure patient safety by following MRI safety protocols
- Assist patients with positioning and comfort during scans
- Prepare and review patient medical histories to provide accurate imaging
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure proper diagnostic results
- Keep accurate records of imaging procedures and patient interactions
- Contract position, must have an address 30 miles away from the facility
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an address 30 miles away from site
- 2+ years of experience
- Certification in MRI Technology (ARRT-MRI preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday
