Job DescriptionPosition: Payroll Specialist Location: NW Portland, OR Job Type: Contract, Fully Onsite, Full time Compensation: $28-$33.65 an hour DOE Responsibilities:
- Managing full cycle payroll in a team for a mid-size company (300+)
- Ensuring the accuracy of all data input into the payroll system
- Safeguarding the confidentiality and security of employee information
- Addressing payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly and professionally
- Assisting with year-end payroll reporting
- Undertaking other related duties as necessary
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in full-cycle payroll processing within the construction industry is required.
- Experience with certified payroll and union payroll is also necessary.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
