Compensation: Starting at $26/hour + 10% shift differential

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Team Leader to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in coordinating daily activities for a specific medical device assembly production area within a cleanroom environment. You’ll assist the Production Supervisor in guiding team members, ensuring production goals are met, enforcing quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Support and direct production team members in collaboration with the Supervisor.

Assign tasks based on team members’ skills to maintain efficient workflow.

Assist supervisor in production planning and resource allocation to meet deadlines.

Monitor product quality, conduct inspections, and enforce quality control procedures.

Train and onboard new employees on procedures, equipment, and safety practices.

Ensure team compliance with safety protocols; investigate and document incidents as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Track inventory levels; coordinate with supervisor/supply chain to ensure material availability.

Support equipment maintenance and help minimize downtime.

Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts along with Lean team.

Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and team performance.
Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and minimum 2+ years of direct leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Medical device manufacturing, cleanroom and assembly experience or similar highly regulated environment preferred.

Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with training systems and basic computer applications.

Experience with safety standards, quality procedures, and lean manufacturing principles.
