Compensation: Starting at $26/hour + 10% shift differential

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Team Leader to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in coordinating daily activities for a specific medical device assembly production area within a cleanroom environment. You’ll assist the Production Supervisor in guiding team members, ensuring production goals are met, enforcing quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and direct production team members in collaboration with the Supervisor.

  • Assign tasks based on team members’ skills to maintain efficient workflow.

  • Assist supervisor in production planning and resource allocation to meet deadlines.

  • Monitor product quality, conduct inspections, and enforce quality control procedures.

  • Train and onboard new employees on procedures, equipment, and safety practices.

  • Ensure team compliance with safety protocols; investigate and document incidents as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

  • Track inventory levels; coordinate with supervisor/supply chain to ensure material availability.

  • Support equipment maintenance and help minimize downtime.

  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts along with Lean team.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and team performance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum 2+ years of direct leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Medical device manufacturing, cleanroom and assembly experience or similar highly regulated environment preferred.

  • Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with training systems and basic computer applications.

  • Experience with safety standards, quality procedures, and lean manufacturing principles.
