Known for its strong regional presence, commitment to community engagement, and focus on long-term customer relationships, the organization offers a stable and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth.In this role, you will be responsible for establishing new 203(k) loans on system of record and disburse rehabilitation funds and construction draws, as requested. Post disbursements to servicing system and reconcile all entries. Track and disburse escrow holdback funds to appropriate parties.Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
- Disburse 203(k) rehabilitation funds, construction draws, and escrow holdback funds.
- Utilize Microsoft Access databases and servicing system for the disbursement of the funds.
- Set up and balance new loans for the 203(k) department. Post all entries regarding disbursement of funds to the servicing system.
- Communicate with impacted areas regarding exceptions as they arise.
- Preparation and/or reconciliation of required daily and month-end reports.
- Review requests to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and audit guidelines.
- Work closely with both Internal and External Customers such as mortgage customers, co-workers, Loan
- Production Office and Accounting employees, and vendors/contractors.
- Trains peers on new policies and procedures and presents ideas to improve processes and workflow.
Skills & ExperienceQualifications That Will Help You Thrive
High School diploma or GED.- Two years of clerical or mortgage banking experience.
- Must possess basic accounting skills.
- Microsoft Office including Microsoft Access
