Support educational success by providing dedicated assistance as a paraprofessional within a high school setting. This contract opportunity entails working alongside students and teaching staff to promote an effective and inclusive learning environment.
Location: Derry, NH
Assignment Duration: ASAP through June 15, 2026
Work Schedule: 32.5 hours per week
Setting: High School, supporting both 1:1 student learning and classroom assistance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students individually and in group settings to support academic and behavioral goals
- Collaborate with teachers to implement instructional plans and adapt materials as needed
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations with the educational team
- Participate actively in maintaining a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required
- Three professional references required at the time of interview, including one recent supervisor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
