Job DescriptionBanking Operations Analyst Job at a Glance

  • Location: Jersey City, NJ
  • Contract: W2 only, 4-6 month contract
  • Pay: $55/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive monitoring and support of the U.S. dollar clearing client base
  • Credit, funding, and transaction limit management and oversight
  • Management of client reporting and analytics
  • Act as liaison between back office and client or front office as applicable
  • Serve as main contact point for the network and help resolve all issues related to USD and CAD clearing business
  • Support day-to-day business relationships for USD and CAD network clearing clients at the account level
  • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders as required
  • Drive processing efficiency by improving straight-through processing rates at the client level
  • Drive customer satisfaction by working closely with clients to improve service delivery
  • Escalate service-level inquiries as appropriate
  • Oversee key control processes related to billing, risk, and management reporting
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with stakeholders to ensure high service levels
  • Review and analyze reports related to client activity, including wire transfers and non-payment SWIFT messages
  • Recommend and monitor KPIs to ensure SLAs and turnaround times are met
  • Recommend procedural changes and efficiency improvements where necessary
  • Interpret, manipulate, and analyze data to produce dashboards focused on improving client experience
  • Work closely with development teams to create and implement management reporting
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights through pattern analysis
  • Investigate issues, determine root causes, and drive resolution
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly dashboards
  • Contribute directly to the operational permanent control framework

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in correspondent banking, payment operations, or cash management products
  • Knowledge of international wire transfers, SWIFT, and local clearing systems
  • Knowledge of funds transfer operations and governing rules and regulations
  • Experience with analytical reporting and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of data and report analysis
