What you’ll lead

• Night‑shift operations for narrow‑web flexographic and hybrid/digital label presses.
• Setups, changeovers, and die‑cutting that meet spec the first time.
• Real‑time troubleshooting of registration, ink, and print quality issues.
• Team coaching that raises safety, craftsmanship, and throughput.

Your core responsibilities

• Run and optimize servo‑driven presses; adjust impressions, web path, speeds, curing/drying, and ink viscosity.
• Validate job tickets, materials, inks, plates, and tooling before release to production.
• Load substrates, mount plates, set registration, and verify results against quality standards.
• Coordinate with production planning, quality, and maintenance to protect schedule adherence.
• Complete routine maintenance and cleaning; flag and escalate mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain safe work practices and 5S/housekeeping across the press area.
• Document shift metrics and deliver concise handoffs to leadership and the incoming crew.

What you’ll bring

• Direct experience operating servo‑driven narrow‑web flexo presses (Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or similar).
• Fluency with UV and/or water‑based inks; pressure‑sensitive labels and film substrates.
• Independent problem-solver who makes confident, data‑driven decisions.
• Background as a lead/senior operator or informal shift lead is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and effective with multiple priorities in a fast‑moving shop.
• Comfort using basic computer tools for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Clear communicator with a collaborative, accountable leadership style.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work on the production floor for the duration of the shift.
