Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – School Setting
in Portsmouth, Ohio

As a School-Based CNA, you will:
- Provide basic first aid and medical support to students and staff
- Assist the school nurse in monitoring students with chronic conditions
- Assist classroom teachers with daily activities
- Help maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Follow all school and agency policies and procedures
A few must-haves for School-Based CNAs:

Current Ohio Educational Aide Permit or fully meets the Ohio requirements for paraprofessionals

Background check and references clear

Comfortable providing personal care support if needed (toileting, feeding, mobility)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
