Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Bridgeport, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on K-12th grade students and contribute to their educational success.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
- Start Date: ASAP
- Caseload: K-12th grade students
- Required Certification: K-12th Special Education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide support in both self-contained and general education settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and staff
- Monitor and assess student progress consistently
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
