Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students in grades K-12. This contract position spans the full academic school year and is based in Peyton, CO, within a supportive K-12 school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students exhibiting communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students academic and social progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, progress notes, and compliance with state and district regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-age children, especially within K-12 settings.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize student needs.
