An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to contribute to a dynamic educational environment. This part-time position as a School Psychologist involves supporting the district psychologist with overflow needs, providing essential services to K-12 students from August 20th to May 29th.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and staff
- Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Location:
- Cranberry Township, PA (K-12 School Environment)
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students
- Support the district psychologist in managing caseloads and conducting evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement appropriate students' mental health strategies
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation to parents and educators regarding students psychological needs
