Job DescriptionJob Title: Concrete Laborer
Pay Rate: $18–$25/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
The Concrete Laborer supports all phases of concrete construction, including site preparation, formwork, placement, and finishing. This role requires hands-on experience with concrete flatwork, form systems, and jobsite layout while working safely and efficiently as part of a construction crew.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, brace, strip, and dismantle concrete forms for footings, walls, slabs, and structural components
- Perform concrete flatwork including slabs, sidewalks, curbs, pads, ramps, and foundations
- Set grades, elevations, and layouts using drawings, string lines, laser levels, and tape measures
- Place, spread, vibrate, screed, bull float, edge, joint, and finish concrete to required specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Install rebar, wire mesh, anchor bolts, embeds, and other reinforcing materials per project plans
- Operate and maintain concrete and construction equipment such as saws, vibrators, power trowels, and hand tools
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and maintaining a clean, organized jobsite
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times
Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in concrete forming and flatwork
- Working knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, curing methods, and form systems
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble form materials using hand and power tools
- Comfortable reading construction drawings and following layout instructions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well as part of a team

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
