Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in an engaging, collaborative environment. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering the chance to work onsite across two elementary schools, serving students in PreK through 5th grade. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, sharing responsibilities with another psychologist to ensure high-quality support for young learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working with elementary-age children, especially within school settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on eligibility and IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers and parents regarding student needs and appropriate interventions
- Develop and support implementation of individualized behavior and learning plans
- Provide direct counseling and support to students, addressing social-emotional and academic concerns
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RtI) and data-based decision making
- Maintain thorough records congruent with district and professional guidelines
