We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Inspector with experience in welding, nuclear manufacturing, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to cover second shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process, conducting inspections, and implementing quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on manufactured components, focusing on weld quality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform inspection during non-destructive testing (NDT), including ultrasonic, penetrant, and magnetic particle testing.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of inspection findings
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Inspector in welding, nuclear manufacturing, and non-destructive testing.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and codes (e.g., AWS, ASME).
- Certification in non-destructive testing (e.g., ASNT Level II or III) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
