Description

Hiring an experienced electronics technician that holds an IPC certified ( J- STD-001, IPC-A- 610). The position will work with a team that performs assembly, troubleshooting, modification and repair of PCB's, harnesses, and mechanical assembly. • Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation. • Recommend and help track corrective and preventive actions. • Follow and maintain company documentation standards and procedures. • Follow, maintain and improve company quality processes. • Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and maintain ESD equipment. • Maintaining equipment calibration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. • 5 years technician experience required; 10 years preferred. • Must have held or currently hold IPC certifications in both J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610. • Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair; Aerospace is a plus. • Knowledge and use of crimping tools, soldering iron, cutters / strippers, mechanical tools, volt-meter, continuity testers, label maker, etc. • Must be able to read, interpret and redline bill of materials, drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Must be able to perform point-to-point wiring, as well as perform surface mount and through-hole soldering of PCB's. • Must be capable of performing duties that require them to sit, stand, walk, kneel and be able to lift objects from the floor to a height of 48” above the floor. • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds without assistance. • Must be able to view color codes on components and be able to place components on boards using systems such as a binocular microscope. • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and to perform basic math skills. • Must be detail oriented and organized. • Must be able to work in a small team environment. • Must be a US Citizen.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
