Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor
Job Description
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations during the second shift. This role provides direct leadership to production employees and ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise manufacturing personnel to meet production, quality, and safety objectives.
- Administer supervisory duties in compliance with organizational guidelines and labor laws, including employee training, work assignments, and performance management.
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and directing workflow.
- Evaluate employee performance, recognize achievements, and address performance issues through coaching and corrective action as needed.
- Respond to employee concerns, resolve operational issues, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Review and interpret production specifications, blueprints, and job orders, communicating requirements clearly to team members.
- Analyze work orders to forecast labor needs, estimate production hours, and develop machining or production schedules that support internal demands and customer delivery requirements.
- Guide employees in the proper setup, adjustment, and operation of machinery and equipment to ensure products meet established quality and safety standards.
- Monitor production output and processes, making real-time adjustments to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain product consistency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with TPS Systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and fast-paced. The position is for the second shift, working 45 - 50 hours a week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lafayette, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
