Summary

The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

Duties

We are looking for a full-time Teacher to join our team. The Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering effective educational programs that promote intellectual, moral, and social development for our students. This is an on-site role located in Greenville, SC.

Requirements

• Required to have minimum High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferable.
• Strong background in Lesson Planning and Education
• Excellent Communication and Teaching skills
• Experience with Training and mentoring staff members
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, colleagues, and students to promote learning and development.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience working with Montessori and/or STEAM education is a plus
• 2 years experience preferred but not required
• CDA Certification.
• Required to work full-time from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
• Must pass a Background Check

Nice To Haves

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Lesson planning: 1 year (Preferred)
• Certification in Education or related fields is a plus
• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities is a plus
