  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 available

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
  • Previous radiographic experience (required)
  • Connecticut State Radiographer license (required)
  • BLS Certification (required)
  • 1–2 years CT experience (preferred)
  • ARRT (R) and (CT) certification (or within 10 months if in a cross-training program)

What You’ll Do

  • Educate patients about exams, review medical history, and complete IV contrast worksheets
  • Prepare rooms and equipment, including power injectors and clean linens
  • Start and maintain IVs per radiology nurse guidelines
  • Assist patients safely on and off scanner tables
  • Perform and adjust CT scans to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
  • Accurately complete documentation, including charging, insurance, PACS, and teleradiology entries
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support patient care
  • Follow all safety procedures for radiation, hazardous materials, and patient handling
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
