Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in both healthcare and school settings, based in West Valley City, UT. This contract position offers the chance to provide specialized PT services within a school environment, supporting the unique needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough initial assessment for both Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) on two students.
• Review and analyze assessment outcomes to determine appropriate intervention plans.
• Depending on assessment results, provide ongoing PT services to one or two students weekly.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student goals and school requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license with credentials permitting practice in Utah.
• Experience in pediatric physical therapy within school and healthcare environments.
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare providers.
• Flexibility to adjust services based on student needs and assessment outcomes.
• Understanding of educational regulations and therapeutic practices in schools.
