Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Boonville, IN, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week, primarily onsite, working from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role involves serving approximately 50 students across kindergarten through eighth grade, including those in a Life Skills classroom within the K-5 range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapeutic interventions
- Manage a caseload focused on mild to moderate disabilities, including Developmental Delay (DD), Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and Other Health Impairment (OHI)
- Support students in a K-8 building with a small portion of caseload dedicated to Life Skills students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed documentation consistent with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Current Indiana School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of educational evaluations and therapeutic interventions for school-aged children
- Capable of managing caseload independently in a school environment
