Job Description
Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with our Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, subcontract agreements, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning and executing projects by managing schedules, budgets, contracts and resources
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure everyone is informed about project progress and changes.
- Maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and project plans, to ensure all information is up-to-date and accessible.
- Organize and participate in project meetings, ensuring that agendas are prepared and minutes are recorded.
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in project coordination or a related role, typically ranging from 1-3 years.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe, Teams, Procore) is advantageous.
