An excellent opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in an elementary school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is a full school year backfill, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development in a supportive environment.
The role is located in Providence, RI, within a well-regarded school district committed to student success. Candidates with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology are preferred; however, Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are also encouraged to apply, with supervisory support available for those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC certification preferred; CFY candidates with supervisory availability are welcome
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
