PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:

This position supports objectives by leading development projects and coordinating key strategies across multiple functions and disciplines that deliver overall operational and business benefit for the Belt Curve Center of Excellence.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the supervisor. Job duties may change as required by needs of company.

  1. Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  2. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  3. Track project costs to ensure budget remains intact, monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  4. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  5. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  6. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Provide leadership with milestone updates upon completion of key deliverables within a project's timeline.
  8. Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  9. Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  10. Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  11. Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  12. Execute, compile and evaluate project data as a statistical method to assist in the organizational improvement and development of products, technology and product capability for CoE.
  13. As required evaluate and make recommendations on product development, manufacturing processes, management decisions, and capital applications based on analytic review of projects.
  14. Performs miscellaneous assignments as required by changing times.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. SAP experience in variant configuration modeling.
  2. Autodesk Inventor experience.
  1. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  2. Excellent analytical skills.
  3. Secondary language comprehension (German, Chinese).
  4. Highly detailed.
  5. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field or have equivalent on-job experience.
  2. Strong analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  3. Working knowledge of production techniques and theories.
  4. Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  5. Microsoft Office knowledge.
  6. Ability to travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Incumbent must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use hands/fingers to feel, and handle; the employee must regularly reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is regular factory noises and is generally loud. Wearing the proper PPE (protective eyewear, ear plugs and steal toed shoes) is a requirement in most areas of this facility.
