MACHINE OPERATOR
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday / 7:30am to 4pm
Pay Rate: $13/hr.
Location: Houston TX, 77026
Experience: 6months - 1 year
Description of the Machine Operator Position:
Set-up, operate and troubleshoot assembly line machinery, which may include computer numerical control Brake Press, Roll Former, Raz, CNC Punch, Laser, or Amada machines.
Machine Operator Position Requirements:
- Bilingual
- Previous machine operating experience
- Be able to make accurate measurements
- Machinery diagnostics and troubleshooting experience
Machine Operator Essential job functions:
- Select and align punch tools.
- Identifies and select necessary equipment and/or tools.
- Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.
- Use bars, calipers, gauges, precision instruments, hand tools, and wrenches.
- Maintains necessary maintenance records.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the work areas
Additional job functions:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Machine Operator knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and understand English sufficiently.
- Bilingual
- Ability to read drawings in order to perform jobs according to specifications.
- Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to the performing of the work duties.
- Ability to develop other technical and management skills for future promotion.
- High level of attentiveness and physical coordination to perform the work activities safely and productively.
