Our team at Valley Hope is growing. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Master's level clinician to join our dedicated and passionate team.
This is a hybrid position that will lead a virtual IOP group 3 times per week from 6pm - 9pm. This position will also come on-site to our residential facility in O'Neill up to 3 times per month to interact with patients and staff. The ideal candidate will be located within an hour or so from O'Neill, NE.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, education, social work, or addiction counseling
- License or credential to function as a counselor, social worker, therapist, or psychotherapist in the state in which the Counselor is working; with preference being licensed addiction counselors. Counselors with the following credentials will be considered: PLMHP, PLIMHP, LMHP, or LIMHP and PLADC/LADC.
- One (1) year of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience is required
- CPR/First Aid Certification

JOB SUMMARY:
- Provides individual and group counseling, therapeutic intervention, and educational lectures to patients and family members.
- Develops, revises, and implements treatment plans.
- Performs face to face assessments.
- Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team to include participating in weekly staff meetings, any staff development, and training as required.
- Develops patient progress reports and establishes follow-up care for patients and their families as needed.
- Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support patients in their recovery.
- Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of applicable counseling procedures and substance abuse treatment in accordance with company policy and State and Federal guidelines.
- Collects and reviews referral information upon assignment of patients and consults with others as needed to support coordination of services.
- Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely.
