Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Operate advanced x-ray equipment to capture high-quality radiographs for diagnostic evaluation in a well-established healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients accurately for radiographic exams.
- Adjust x-ray equipment settings including voltage, current, and exposure time to optimize image quality.
- Conduct screening procedures and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
- Document exam details and communicate critical findings to physicians.
- Verify completed exams in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Maintain examination room readiness and equipment functionality.
- Respond to patient inquiries by explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in radiologic technology preferred.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-Radiography) required.
- Valid California Radiologic Tech license required.
- Fluoroscopy license in California required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
- Commitment to adhere to organizational safety and vaccination policies.
