Position Details
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours & Days: Flexible
Wage Range: $40 - $50/hour based on experience
Location: Central Region
What You'll Do
- Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct thorough evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs that impact their daily activities.
- Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Craft personalized intervention programs aimed at enhancing independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
- Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to boost motor skills and coordination.
- Educate & Support Patients & Families: Share valuable education on coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to enrich quality of life and independence.
- Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and adapt treatment approaches as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program with a bachelor’s degree.
- Current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License.
- Strong understanding of state, federal, and local regulations related to long-term care.
- Ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
