Join a growing manufacturing team as a Cleanroom Technician on 2nd shift, assembling large electrical power products in a clean, climate-controlled facility. In this role, you will build and wire large electrical bins by routing cables and assembling a variety of electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, driven by multiple new, long-duration projects and significant planned headcount growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble large 30 x 50 foot electrical bins used in power products manufacturing.
  • Run and route various electrical cables throughout each bin according to specifications.
  • Assemble and install a range of electrical and mechanical components within the bins.
  • Use hand and power tools, including drills and other common shop tools, safely and effectively.
  • Interpret and follow assembly instructions, and where applicable, work from blueprints or drawings.
  • Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure precise cuts and placements.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks that may resemble construction, carpentry, or automotive work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in a cleanroom-style manufacturing environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members on the production floor to meet daily and weekly output goals.
  • Work consistent overtime, including additional hours before the regular shift, to support production demands.
  • Participate in facility walk-throughs and any required assessments or tests related to the role.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong interest in hands-on mechanical work.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Comfort using common hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to consistently work 50+ hours per week.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn assembly processes in a production setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in construction or related trades.
  • Carpentry experience, including working with lumber, framing, or similar tasks.
  • Automotive mechanics experience or other mechanical repair experience.
  • Experience with wiring or cabling in electrical or electronic assemblies.
  • Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Willingness to complete and pass any required assessments, such as a Line Wirer test, to qualify for pay increases.

Why Work Here?

You will join a business experiencing strong growth, supported by multiple long-term projects that create stability and opportunity. The company offers significant room for advancement, with clear paths to grow your skills and responsibilities over time. Overtime is readily available, allowing you to increase your earnings, and pay increases may be available as early as the first week upon successfully completing required assessments. The schedule supports work-life flexibility, and the clean, organized environment makes it easier to focus on doing your best work each day.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with approximately 80 people working on the production floor. You will work on 2nd shift, typically from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with overtime scheduled before the regular shift and an expectation of working more than 50 hours per week. A shift differential is available for off-shift work. The environment is production-focused yet orderly, with access to a range of hand and power tools, including drills and other standard equipment used for mechanical and electrical assembly. Work is performed indoors in a cleanroom-style setting, with an emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and consistent processes.
