Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students in an educational setting in Pawtucket, RI. This contract role offers guaranteed hours, serving one elementary school and one early learning center, with an anticipated maternity leave duration of 12 to 16 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students ranging from early learning through elementary ages.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates without CCC.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with early childhood and elementary populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
