The Associate Medical Director at our organization plays a pivotal role in shaping clinical strategies and managing community-based outpatient care practices, with responsibilities split evenly between administrative and clinical tasks. Candidates must hold board certification in a medical specialty, ideally in Internal or Family Medicine, along with a valid medical license in New York State. We are currently inviting applications for the role of Associate Medical Director at our Broadway clinic located in Brooklyn, New York. Our organization is dedicated to overseeing community-based practices within the largest public health care system in the nation.

Opportunity Details:
- Develops clinical strategies for transforming ambulatory care.
- Directs and implements clinical initiatives for the site.
- Engages in the development and execution of site management business and clinical quality strategies.
- Fosters collaborative relationships across various service lines and programs to address care gaps and achieve common objectives.
- Guides teams and organizational units towards visions and strategies that enhance both short-term and long-term performance.
- Monitors metrics related to care gaps.
- On-site presence is essential for fulfilling all job responsibilities.
- Responsibilities are divided equally between administrative and clinical tasks.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in a medical specialty (preferably Internal or Family Medicine).
- Current New York State Medical License.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Base Salary: $244,000*, based on a standard 40-hour work week.
The estimated total annual compensation package is valued at $268,400**, which includes the base salary, 401(k) contributions, and additional factors outlined below:
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution based on base earnings, with no employee match required.
- After one year of service, an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings is provided, also with no employee match required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and CME days.
- Comprehensive Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Premium plans with employee contributions significantly lower than market rates.
- Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equivalent to twice your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) at no cost to you.
- Additional voluntary Life and AD&D coverage options are available for you and your family.
- Medical Malpractice Coverage (occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
