Our organization, a dedicated provider of specialized hand therapy and comprehensive rehabilitation services in the Jackson area, is looking for a Licensed Physical Therapist to become part of our patient-focused team. In this position, you will assess and treat individuals with various orthopedic, post-surgical, and upper extremity issues, emphasizing rehabilitation of the hand and upper limb.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough musculoskeletal and functional evaluations, creating tailored, evidence-based treatment strategies, and implementing hands-on interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at restoring function, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one treatment sessions for patients.
- Instruct patients on home exercise programs.
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and post-operative care.
- Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Document evaluations, daily notes, and discharge summaries accurately and promptly in our electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with clinical, legal, and payer standards.
As an integral part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will work alongside other therapists, physicians, and staff to coordinate care and provide seamless, high-quality service to every patient.
