Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational role is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, providing telehealth services. This contract-based position focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support remotely to enhance learning outcomes for students with hearing challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Delivering direct instruction and therapeutic services via telehealth platforms.
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards.
  • Providing guidance on the use of assistive listening devices and communication strategies.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Certification or licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
  • Experience in telehealth delivery of educational or therapeutic services.
  • Strong communication skills for virtual instruction and family engagement.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and accommodations for hearing-impaired students.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseloads remotely.
