Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting located in Arvada, CO, serving students across multiple campuses in the Denver area. This full-time, on-site contract role offers a dynamic caseload ranging from 25 to 45 students, providing support for diverse speech and language needs within a structured school district environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students within the K-12 range, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in four professional development days during the second semester, with opportunities to attend and bill accordingly.
- Support and potentially supervise clinical fellows (CFs) who have met eligibility requirements for the Department of Education Certification.
- Adhere strictly to on-site service delivery; no virtual or hybrid work options available.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Current Colorado Department of Education Certification.
- Experience ranges from entry-level (0-2 years) to seasoned professionals (10+ years), with appropriate compensation reflecting experience.
- Completion of an 8-week school rotation required for CF eligibility.
- Strong communication and organizational skills suitable for a school-based therapeutic environment.
Work Schedule and Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Contract duration from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026.
- Positions available include a backfill for a current staff member.
- Service limited to on-site engagement within the designated geographic area.
