Turn blueprints into structures in a fast-moving job-shop environment where every project is different and your craftsmanship matters.

Pay, Shifts, and Differentials

  • Base Pay: $22–$26/hour
  • Shift Premium: +15% for 2nd and 3rd shifts
  • Available Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Your Mission

  • Read and apply blueprints, drawings, and specifications to steel assemblies
  • Cut, prep, and fit components using saws and oxy-fuel torches
  • Perform high-quality welds (primary process: MIG; TIG and stick are a plus)
  • Operate shop equipment: shears, press brakes, drill presses
  • Hold tight tolerances and verify accuracy through inspection
  • Organize your work area and uphold safety standards

What It Takes

  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
  • Comfort in a custom job-shop (non-production) setting
  • Strong blueprint reading and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of fabrication tools, measuring equipment, and shop machinery
  • Detail-driven with strong quality control habits
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy steel; comfortable in an industrial shop

Tools of the Trade You’ll Use
