Schedule & Hours
- Day shift: 4x10s, 7:00am-5:00pm
- On-call required: Every 3rd-4th weekend and one to two weekday calls
- Weekend rotation: Every 3rd to 4th as needed
Qualifications
- Valid SC or Compact Multi-State RN license
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a CVOR RN (CABG, vascular, and thoracic case exposure essential)
- BLS certification required
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)
- First-time travelers accepted with sufficient experience
Role Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub in complex cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care in a 276-bed acute care setting
- Flexibly float between service lines as needed (no floating to sister facilities)
- Accurately document in the Epic electronic health record system
- Adapt to emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June-November)
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, including local radius and block scheduling considerations
