POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will perform essential accounting and reporting functions and assists in various analyses. This position jointly supports the VP of Finance and Director of Finance and works collaboratively with other members of the finance team to accomplish a variety of tasks that support the needs of the company.

WHERE YOULL WORK

This position is hybrid. Work from home and come onsite to our Garden Grove office 3-4 days weekly. Standard business hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Compile and analyze revenue information for the organization
  • Review organizational billing practices to ensure invoice accuracy and proper revenue recognition
  • Provide key revenue and contract related information to senior management in a timely and comprehensive manner
  • Ensure completion of all billing, statistical, and financial reports
  • Organize, assemble, and analyze data and key performance indicators to better understand revenue performance
  • Conduct trend and comparative analysis of key financial data and performance indicators
  • Develop business requirements to support system modifications and upgrades
  • Make recommendations for improving systems and operations

WHO YOU ARE

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting procedures
  • Knowledge and ability to translate data into accurate financial and management reports
  • Aptitude for numbers, organization skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of detailed accounting functions and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to build good internal relationships within the organization and with external third parties
  • Ability to perform on moderately complex special projects
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey and exchange information in a clear and concise manner
  • Adequate hearing and vision (with corrective devices if necessary)
  • Ability to identify problems and use logic and related information to develop and implement solutions
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of established policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate clearly in-person, by phone, and electronically
  • Frequent use of computers, keyboard, and handheld/mobile devices
  • Proficient with computers, email, virtual platforms, Microsoft Office based programs, and NetSuite
  • Ability to type for extended periods
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 2025 pounds(e.g., laptop bag, forms, mobile equipment)
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and safety in diverse environments

WHAT YOULL NEED

  • Bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance or accounting
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and preparing financial reports
  • Prior experience in healthcare or managed care preferred
  • Audit experience a plus
