The DNA Group is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support through the development of procurement templates, process documentation, job aids, and presentation materials for a new cloud-based system. The role works with PMO, legal, procurement, and SMEs to produce compliant, high-quality documentation for implementation.
Overview Requirements:
• Develop and revise procurement sourcing, contract, and related templates to reflect current policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Develop and revise procurement process and procedure documentation to ensure clarity and compliance with current organizational and legislative policies.
• Support the PASS Modernization Project for a new cloud-based procurement management system.
• Create procurement-related documentation, training materials such as job-aids, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the PASS Modernization Project PMO, legal teams, procurement staff, and other subject matter experts to gather information needed for content development.
• Facilitate workshops or meetings to obtain information needed to complete documentation or determine documentation requirements.
• Ensure all documents meet legal requirements and regulatory standards through coordination with legal and other departments.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to OCP-established style guides and templates.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of existing documentation to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Produce documentation that is clear, consistent, accurate, appropriate, and aligned with procurement industry standards.
• Organize and maintain documents in Microsoft Teams folders so materials are current and accessible to procurement staff.
• Develop simple, understandable step-by-step job-aids to support new or revised templates and documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, business, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong technical writing or documentation management experience with demonstrated writing and editing skills
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to collaborate with others, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to work onsite 4 days a week in a hybrid environment
