Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in New Hampshire is seeking a licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist to support high school students with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD). This part-time, contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential services within a K-12 educational setting, focusing on a caseload of approximately 12 students.

Location: Kingston, NH
Position Type: Contract for Current School Year
Hours: 20 hours per week, spread over 3 days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological and counseling services to students with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to develop behavior intervention strategies
  • Deliver direct support and counseling to students identified with EBD
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, or School Psychologist credentials required
  • Experience working with high school students, preferably those with emotional and behavioral disorders
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to a diverse student population
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 12 students effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
