Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

This position is for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving K-12 students in a classroom setting. The role supports both low and high functioning students across a full school year contract. The assignment is located in Whittier, CA, with one campus per SLP, providing a focused work environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or relevant credential for SLPAs
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatrics
  • Teletherapy capabilities preferred
  • Certified School SLP or SLPA with familiarity in school-based therapy
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs, if applicable

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Assess communication needs and develop treatment plans tailored to low and high functioning students
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress
  • Utilize teletherapy tools when appropriate to deliver remote therapy services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
  • Manage one campus to ensure consistent and quality therapy delivery

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Assignment located near Sherman Oaks and Culver City, CA, with service based in Whittier, CA
  • Contract duration from ASAP through August, with potential extension into the 2025/2026 school year
