Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity in the Denver area, serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to make a real impact in the lives of children across a range of schools—caseloads are well-managed, varying between 25 to 45 students, and you'll work with a diverse age group, helping each child reach their communication goals.
You'll work a consistent 37.5-hour, Monday through Friday schedule, and your expertise will be valued not only in traditional service delivery but also on Professional Development days, which contractors are encouraged and supported to attend. Recent SLP graduates needing supervision are welcome to apply, as the district is open to CFs if supervision can be provided. Please note, this is an on-site position—virtual options are not available, and SLPAs cannot be considered for this role.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certificate and CO SLP License
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting (open to candidates with varying years of experience)
- Ability to pass district background check and fingerprint requirements
- Strong collaborative skills and dedication to student-focused outcomes
- Professionalism and flexibility to serve students in multiple schools, assignments may vary
Role responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to a varied caseload of students
- Developing and implementing treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in professional development opportunities
