Job DescriptionMachine Operator – Bottling Line (2nd Shift)

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Machine Operator to support bottling line operations on our 2nd shift. In this role, you will ensure the efficient and accurate operation of production equipment, maintain consistent product flow, and uphold all quality and safety standards. Your attention to detail and ability to follow job instructions precisely will be essential to keeping the bottling line running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately read, interpret, and execute detailed job instructions.
  • Load materials and operate production line equipment to maintain a steady and even product flow.
  • Monitor production operations and document all required process information.
  • Identify, separate, document, and report defective materials or finished goods.
  • Label, package, palletize, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
  • Complete required documentation through both paperwork and computer systems.
  • Monitor material inventory on the line and restock or request resupply to prevent downtime.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and work extended hours when needed to meet production demands.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or machine operation.
  • Previous bottling line experience strongly preferred.

Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with high‑speed production line operations.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills in bottling, picking, packing, and general machine operation.

  • Production facility with approximately 75 team members.
  • 2nd shift schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
