Connect Staffing is hiring a Sanitation Coordinator for a food production plant in Los Alamitos, CA. This is a long-term placement position with the possibility of permanent hire, paying $19–$21/hr depending on experience. In this role, you will support the Sanitation Supervisor by auditing SSOP execution, managing sanitation chemicals and PPE inventory, and handling sanitation document review and audit preparation. This position offers steady, full-time hours with occasional overtime available.
Pay: $19–$21/hr
Schedule: 40 hours per week; evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities
- Audit Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) execution on the facility floor and document any non-conformances.
- Manage sanitation chemical inventory, PPE stock, and facility hygienic supplies.
- Request container pick-ups and coordinate supply logistics for the sanitation department.
- Review sanitation documents and assist with SSOP updates.
- Support audit preparation by organizing and maintaining sanitation records in Word and Excel.
- Assist with hands-on facility cleaning as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) and food safety documentation.
- Experience with inventory management or supply tracking in a production environment.
- Exposure to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or food safety audit preparation.
- Experience supporting a supervisor or department in an administrative or coordination capacity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities.
