About the Role
We are supporting a global middle market investment bank on hiring an Associate to join its Technology M&A team in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions across the technology sector, advising innovative and fast-growing companies as well as leading private equity investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute M&A transactions end-to-end, including sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory assignments
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentation
- Conduct industry, market, and company research within the technology sector
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage data rooms
- Work closely with senior bankers and clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Support mentoring and development of junior team members (Analysts)
Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of Investment Banking experience, preferably with exposure to M&A and/or the technology sector
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Prior experience in technology, software, internet, or tech-enabled sectors is advantageous but not required
