Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Floor Nurse
Location: White Oak Nursing Facility
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Floor Nurse at White Oak Nursing Facility. The RN will provide direct patient care, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and resident comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document residents’ conditions and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
- Supervise and support LPNs and STNAs/CNAs on assigned unit
- Respond promptly to changes in resident conditions and emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations
- Ensure adherence to all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
