Embark on a rewarding part-time opportunity supporting preschool students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position involves working closely with young learners, some with intensive needs, in a collaborative classroom environment. The role is based near Derry, NH, and is ideal for an experienced paraprofessional with a background in behavioral support.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment, especially with students requiring behavioral support
- ABA training or relevant experience with Applied Behavior Analysis practices
- Familiarity and comfort working with special education (SPED) populations
- High school diploma required
- Ability to provide at least one completed professional reference
- Flexible attitude; willing to adapt to classroom changes as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Successful completion of district fingerprinting and onboarding requirements
- Comfortable navigating Zoom interviews and virtual processes
Position Details:
- Part-time: Monday through Thursday, 26 hours per week
- Schedule: 8:30AM–2:50PM
- Immediate start, continuing through June 17, 2026
- Support provided in both intensive needs and general education preschool classrooms
- Focused on inclusive support for a preschool student in a primary school setting
