We’re seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time role in Will County, IL, for the remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year.

You will provide social-emotional support, address behavioral challenges, and partner with educators, administrators, and families to implement intervention strategies that foster student success.


Position Details:

  • Position: School Social Worker
  • Location: Will County, IL
  • Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, follows district school schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success.
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
