Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in New Jersey for the rest of the school year. This is a full-time, on-site position working with students who require individualized educational support. This District has multiple openings K - 12 all positionsare in aself contained setting 4-7 student caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
- Utilize data-driven strategies and progress monitoring to adjust instruction and interventions.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement or eligibility.
- Possession of one of the following certificates (required for classroom placement):
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)
- OR a dual certificate in a content area and TOSD endorsement.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Follows the 20252026 academic calendar
