Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role requires a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with a strong background in outpatient and inpatient imaging. The focus will be on performing ultrasound exams including OB anatomy, breast, and general imaging, with opportunities to expand into musculoskeletal, vascular, and neonatal head and hip studies. The position offers a balance of predictable scheduling with some flexibility and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures primarily in OB, breast, and general categories
- Review orders and assist in protocol management for outpatient services
- Float between inpatient and outpatient areas as required
- Provide on-call coverage including one 24-hour shift per week and rotating weekend shifts
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including outpatient setting exposure
- Proficient in OB anatomy, breast, and general ultrasound imaging; musculoskeletal, vascular (venous studies), neonatal head and hip study experience preferred
- Current certification from ARDMS or ARRT in Ultrasound and valid BLS certification
- Experience with order review and outpatient protocol development
- Travel experience is a plus
Schedule
- Typically 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (approximately Wednesday to Friday, 1:45 PM to 2:00 AM)
- Weekend and holiday shifts as needed, with on-call duties

- Contract position with free 1-bedroom housing provided (pet units not available)
- Candidates permanent address must be over 50 miles from Fairbanks
