Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab, focused on heart failure and advanced cardiovascular procedures. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize specialized skills in a dynamic clinical environment.

Location
This role is based in Round Rock, TX, a vibrant city known for its community-oriented atmosphere and proximity to Austins cultural and recreational offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures including Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), RHC with Endomyocardial Biopsy (EMBX)
  • Support structural heart interventions such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
  • Manage care for patients with heart failure and other high-acuity cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure precise and safe invasive procedures
  • Monitor patient status attentively throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedural phases

Qualifications and Desired Experience

  • Current RN license with cath lab nursing experience
  • Proficient in advanced cardiac catheterization procedures, including peripheral interventions and pulmonary embolism (PE) cases
  • Experience with structural heart disease interventions and high-acuity cardiac care
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, specialized cardiovascular settings
