Provide expert nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab, focused on heart failure and advanced cardiovascular procedures. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize specialized skills in a dynamic clinical environment.

This role is based in Round Rock, TX, a vibrant city known for its community-oriented atmosphere and proximity to Austins cultural and recreational offerings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures including Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), RHC with Endomyocardial Biopsy (EMBX)
- Support structural heart interventions such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Manage care for patients with heart failure and other high-acuity cardiac conditions
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure precise and safe invasive procedures
- Monitor patient status attentively throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedural phases
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Current RN license with cath lab nursing experience
- Proficient in advanced cardiac catheterization procedures, including peripheral interventions and pulmonary embolism (PE) cases
- Experience with structural heart disease interventions and high-acuity cardiac care
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, specialized cardiovascular settings
